Booooooom! pencils: being a part of a worldwide art project

One of the great things about living in the 21st century is the way we can connect with people all across the globe. Students in Ms. Iskenderian's third grade decorated pencils for the the international art project call "Line Segments". The contemporary art blog Booooooom! and the Vancouver based art studio Tangible Interaction have created a simple pencil connector using a 3D printer. They are going to build a sculpture out of pencils and have asked people from all over the world to send them some! This is a great opportunity for students to collaborate not only with each other but with other artists internationally.
Want to decorate and send in your own pencil? Find out all the details here
